Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of the Evolift app and the website evolift.fit (the “Service”), operated by the Evolift developer named as the seller on the App Store listing (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Beta version
Evolift is currently offered as a free beta. Features may change, contain errors or be removed, and the beta may end at any time. Please keep your own records of anything important to you.
2. Not medical advice
Evolift provides general fitness and nutrition information only. Calorie, macro, pace and weight-goal calculations are estimates for healthy adults and are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Consult a doctor before starting a new exercise or diet program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under 18. Exercise carries a risk of injury: use proper technique, warm up, and stop if you feel pain or discomfort. You use the Service at your own risk.
3. Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity in your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the data, notes and photos you add (“Your Content”). You give us a limited permission to store, process and display Your Content only to provide the Service to you (for example, to sync it between your devices). Only add photos you have the right to use, and do not upload content that is illegal or infringes the rights of others.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Service, try to access other users’ data, or interfere with its operation.
- Do not reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service, except as allowed by law.
- Do not use automated means to send excessive requests to the Service or its providers.
6. Third-party data and services
Product information comes from Open Food Facts, a community database, and may be incomplete or incorrect; always check the product label, especially for allergens. Optional AI food recognition provides estimates that may be inaccurate. We are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Our rights
The Evolift app, name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes. Some components are open-source and are licensed under their own licenses; product data is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL).
8. Apple
If you downloaded Evolift from the App Store or TestFlight, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or injuries resulting from exercise or diet decisions. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer in your country of residence.
10. Ending use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. If paid features are introduced, their price and conditions will be shown before you buy, and additional terms will apply.
